Week 9 Assessment

Recent Team Meetings:

  1. Tuesday, Oct. 23th: discussed presentation for paper prototype; reviewed team's progress on respective duties; discussed requirements and budget for purchasing software needed to program game due to programming issues; discussed opening cinematic layout and development

Week 8 Accomplishments:
  • Continued to tweak and develop the game's story: finalized the overall plot and story
  • Collaborated with project managers from all tutorials about the overall focus of the course and concerns we have in our own development time; summarized the common issues, prepared a meeting time and met with the instructor with a group of about 35 students to voice our concerns; requested an extended due date
  • Outlined how plot points will progress (in a general manner) in each of the game's levels
  • Team duties remained the same from the previous week: more time is needed to flesh out each member's work

Week 10 Goals:
  • Sketch out front end screen design
  • Test out prototype with new Flying Starter Kit Lawson purchased to use
  • Test, test, test the prototype
  • Begin sketching our front end artwork with Sammpa
  • Sample Dan's music and determine suggestions for music for stages
